JAMIE LENMAN

Jamie Lenman established himself on the UK underground scene as part of noughties post hardcore trio Reuben, touring relentlessly for ten years and releasing three critically acclaimed albums along the way.

The band built up a large cult following thanks to their inventive promo videos and explosive live shows and they soon found themselves in the middle of a thriving post-hardcore scene with bands such as Hundred Reasons, Biffy Clyro and Frank Turner’s Million Dead, and embarked on a triumphant European tour with Billy Talent.

2022 saw the release of singles melodic pop anthems ‘Talk Hard’ and ‘Lena Don’t Leave Me’ in the run up to fifth solo studio album ‘The Atheist’ released in November and celebrated with the 3rd instalment of Jamie Lenman festival Lenmania (Lenmanchester). This time featuring acts such as Saint Agnes, Sickjoy, Brigade, Other Half and more.

NHS charity Christmas single ‘Hospital Tree’ became the 3rd release from this record as hugely positive reviews, radio play and sessions once again came through teeing up 2023’s January single ‘Words of Love’, the first single from The Atheist accompanying EP ‘IKnowYouKnowIKnow’ due out later this year alongside an exciting string of May UK headline dates.
